[cobirds] 4 species of geese - Equalizer Lake/Houts Reservoir, Larimer Co.; Dec. 1

Good morning,

The Brant which has been present since October 25 continues into December.  This morning I observed it from a far, grazing near the southwest side of Houts Reservoir.  I did not see the 3 Canada Geese that have been keeping it company.  When a dog got too close the Brant flew south to a flock of Canada/Cackling Geese in a farm field on the west side of Equalizer.  Later when I got closer I couldn't relocate the Brant in the flock but I did see an adult Ross' Goose in the flock.

Currently Houts is mostly frozen, Equalizer is mostly open.
