[cobirds] Burrowing owls: Have they all left?

I was wondering if the group has seen any Burrowing owls still persisting between Larimer/Weld Co. and the Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR? The time frame would need to have been within the last 5 days and more than 1 owl in the same area.

We have a first year owl that was on migration and injured in Fort Collins approximately a month ago. It is now ready for release and my searches in the field have come up empty. Historical eBird sightings indicate the release window has probably passed and the incoming weather Friday/Saturday further complicates this, but I thought that I would give the group a try.

If you have any current information, please email me directly: mike@rmrp.org

Thank you.
