[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Barr Banding Report, 10/5/24

The day started off well, but the wind kicked up right away, leading to less bird activity and an early close (again).  20 birds banded:

Downy Woodpecker 1

Ruby-crowned Kinglet 3

Orange-crowned Warbler 1

Lincoln's Sparrow 2

White-crowned Sparrow 13

Weather permitting, we are banding Tuesday through Sunday mornings (closed Mondays).  There is a public session most weekday mornings from 7:30-8:30, and three time slots on weekends, at 8, 9, and 10 a.m. (although not this weekend, as we are doing a special training program).  There is a $7 fee and registration is required – click here to register!
