For those of you who have been following the discussion about Western Meadowlarks in winter, you might be interested in the Eastern Meadowlarks print!  Have you ever thought about the visual differences between the two?  Here are some things you can look for in the field aside from vocalizations:


Looking for a framed piece?  Perhaps the Western Tanagers!  Did you know the Western Tanager is no longer placed in the Tanager family, but is now considered a member of the Cardinalidae?  Have a look at some of its closest relatives - many also found in Colorado - here:  https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/browse/taxonomy/Cardinalidae
