Common redpoll spotted this morning at 10:15am in the same backyard as before. It hopped onto the long feeder on the left, then flew up to the high fence around the jacuzzi. I went to get another birder who had just left, but when we got back, it was gone. I waited for another 15-20 minutes but didn't see it again. There is another big feeder next door to the east that the birds go back and forth between soit could be spending time over there as well. There is a large flock of american goldfinches of about 30-40 birds as well as oregon juncos and house finches going back and forth.

We've had a Common Redpoll coming to our feeder on and off for about the last 40 minutes. Not sure how long it will stick around but birders are welcome if you want to try your luck.--Viewing directions:8262 Kincross Dr (Heatherwood neighborhood, Gunbarrel)Please park on the street (the house is on the south side of the street) and come around the west (right) side of the house through the larger gate (past the trash cans). Walk around the side of the house to the backyard. The feeders are in the middle of the yard as you look east. The Redpoll has been coming to the tube feeder and also perching in the grape vines on the wall behind the hot tub. If the bird isn't around, birders are welcome to grab the patio chairs to wait in them (perhaps move them back to the other side of the small garden bed behind the tree to provide a little more buffer and less disturbance - you can leave them there for others to use if you move them). No need to knock, I'll be gone midday but my husband will be around.Happy birding,
