I was corrected as it wasn't a pair, just the male Barrow's, the female was a common goldeneye.

Just saw the pair of Barrow's Goldeneye, around 1:30 pm, they were south of Florida Avenue. I walked north of the bridge and did not see them so headed south of Florida (upstream). They were down aways, about midway between Florida and Jewell. They were floating north, and then took off and flew south, so staying in the general area.DonnaOn Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:22:19 AM UTC-7 DuWayne Worthington wrote:The Barrow's golden eye continues in the stream behind the Aqua golf pond. Turn onto florida avenue from Sante Fe drive and turn right into the Overland Pond Park parking lot;. Walk over to the river and follow the trail north (to the right) until the trail crosses the South platte river. From the bridge look north. It was just beyond the rapids that occur right at the bridge. This is further downstream from where it was spotted several days ago. Happy hunting!DuWayne Worthington
