Hope all Christmas Bird Counts go well this weekend and after. There's quite a few scheduled to happen tomorrow and Sunday throughout the state. Some counts happened this past week. The Pueblo CBC results are on the Christmas Bird Count website. That count finished with 100 species, with 19 helpers. Already, a bird that might be the most unexpected bird for any Colorado Christmas Bird Count this year, the 2nd Colorado CBC record of Wood Thrush, well photographed! I am sure more surprises are coming this weekend and after, make sure to get photos of anything that is rare on your Count.
-- If you live in any of the Christmas Bird Count circle, you can help by being a feeder watcher, make sure to contact the compiler of the count, to see if that is possible.
Have a safe Christmas Bird Count season!
