COBIRDERS,
Mike and I would like to thank the birders who have shown up to view the Redpoll. We appreciate the respect you have shown our home and the birds. Thank you also for your COVID safe behavior of distancing, bring masks, and wearing them when talking betweeen groups.
I would like to add a request that we don't have any visitors prior to 8:30am. We don't have a specific end of day time but the yard gets pretty quiet by 3, 3:30ish.
Thank you,
Megan

We've had a Common Redpoll coming to our feeder on and off for about the last 40 minutes. Not sure how long it will stick around but birders are welcome if you want to try your luck.Viewing directions:8262 Kincross Dr (Heatherwood neighborhood, Gunbarrel)Please park on the street (the house is on the south side of the street) and come around the west (right) side of the house through the larger gate (past the trash cans). Walk around the side of the house to the backyard. The feeders are in the middle of the yard as you look east. The Redpoll has been coming to the tube feeder and also perching in the grape vines on the wall behind the hot tub. If the bird isn't around, birders are welcome to grab the patio chairs to wait in them (perhaps move them back to the other side of the small garden bed behind the tree to provide a little more buffer and less disturbance - you can leave them there for others to use if you move them). No need to knock, I'll be gone midday but my husband will be around.Happy birding,
