I found and photographed a Brown Thrasher while out on a freezing walk at Redwing Marsh Natural Area in northern Fort Collins today. Very surprised. I also saw 2 adult male Evening Grosbeaks and a vocal Killdeer, which also surprised me. This place is along a canal in between Willox and Lemay. Huge activity of birds in the grove of trees closest to Lemay along the canal trail. Found 20 species total in just over 20 minutes. Well worth the painfully cold walk!
