There were five Bonaparte's Gulls on Lagerman Reservoir west of Longmont on Saturday.
-- There was also a partially leucistic Cackling Goose. The body is particularly dark, even for a Cackler, and its cheek patch is visible but very dark as well, but its forehead and crown are bright white. I first spotted this bird on Thanksgiving Day in the pond across the road from Lagerman (old AHI property, now owned by the county) among a large flock of Canadas and Cacklers. Saturday, it was with a flock in the pasture NW of Lagerman.
