My brother and I stopped by Cherry Creek Reservoir this afternoon and re-found the ARCTIC TERN (adult in alternate plumage) reported on Saturday by Roller et al. It was flying and feeding in the western part of the lake, with the Mountain Loop and Lake Loop parking areas providing the best vantage points. We also found a Bonaparte's Gull at the marina among the Ring-Billed and California Gulls. No phalaropes could be found during our circuit around the lake on this windy day.
