We are seeing the transition from late summer to early fall – Wed we had possibly our last Yellow Warbler and our first Yellow-rumped, plus our first Ruby-crowned Kinglets. Also had our third Nashville Warbler (never had more than two in a season). Flickers, Blue Jays and Downy Woodpeckers (all of which tend to be later season captures) are around and more active. We finally caught the White-breasted Nuthatch that’s been taunting us for at least a week. Here’s the breakdown:

Dusky Flycatcher 1
House Wren 4
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 2 (FOS)

Yellow-rumped Warbler-Audubon’s 1 (FOS)
