[cobirds] Birding by Bike - Fort Collins, Cottonwood, Kingfisher, Running Deer Natural Areas

On the way to drop off some artwork for a show in Ft Collins, I stopped by some of the natural areas along Prospect and birded by bike. Nothing terribly spectacular, but still fun and some good photography:

American White Pelicans on Big Pond (3)
Canada Geese, several females on nests
Mallards
Western Grebes
Pied Billed Grebes
Northern Harriers (pair, male and female)
Osprey (at least 2)
RT Hawk
Northern Mockingbird
Northern Flickers (many)
Common Grackle
Black Crowned Night Heron
Great Blue Heron (several)
Ferruginous Hawk being harassed by a Common Raven
Kestrels
Prairie Falcon
Robins
Blue Jay (scolding me quite profusely)
Red Winged Blackbirds
Common Mergansers
Mourning Doves
Crows
A possible Swainson's Hawk, although my glance at it was fleeting...
