Dave Leatherman called and asked me to post that he and Duane Nelson spent about 2.5 hours looking for the possible Arizona Woodpecker in Cottonwood Canyon which they did NOT find. Dave reports a Hairy, Ladder-backed and Flicker at that location. Also they found a Winter Wren about 100 yards upstream from the road in the same canyon.
