[cobirds] Acorn Woodpecker/Bohemian WW, El Paso

On Friday 2/8 around 2:30 pm I manged to locate the Acorn Woodpecker in the 1800 block of Cheyenne Blvd. / Willow Circle in Colorado Springs. I saw he bird fly into a silver maple, had I not seen it fly I think i would have walked right passed it, as it was very inactive for the 10-15 minutes I watched it.

Prior to the woodpecker I was pleasantly surprised to have great looks at 15 very vocal Bohemian Waxwings. They were in the same general vicinity of the woodpecker. (sorry for the late post, I've tried 3 times to  post since Friday, after switching my CObirds account email address)

Good Birding!
