Hello birders,
Victor Emmanuel Nature Tours, a top-rated birding group, led a tour of western Colorado
for four days in early June last year. The cost was $1,495 per person for birding,
lodging and meals, assuming double occupancy. (VENT runs excellent tours, well worth it.)
In contrast, the CFO convention cost for three days of birding, lodging and meals will be
about $300 per person, assuming double occupancy.
The CFO Cortez convention, like the VENT tour, will offer excellent west-slope birding, skilled field trip leaders,
spectacular scenery, and fine camaraderie. True, VENT drives you in a van while CFO does carpooling.
But we offer something VENT does not: a very entertaining Big Year presentation by John Vanderpoel.
And your registration fee at CFO Cortez helps support the study and conservation of Colorado birds.
CFO conventions: What a bargain!
