[cobirds] Fort Collins Eastern Screech-Owl Citizen Science Project

Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory is looking for volunteers to conduct Eastern-Screech Owl surveys along the Fort Collins Poudre River corridor.  This citizen science project aims to estimate occupancy and occupancy dynamics during the Eastern-Screech Owl breeding season.  Volunteers will visit call stations 3 times during early march to late May.  Volunteers must feel comfortable conducting surveys at night.  This is a great opportunity to learn about the value of the Poudre River and how monitoring wildlife informs management.

We plan on having a training session March 5th at 6:00 pm at the RMBO office, 230 Cherry st. in the upstairs meeting room.
