[cobirds] Glaucous Gull continues at Pueblo Res. 2/23

Hi all,

I went over to the Pueblo Reservoir State Wildlife Area on the NW side of Pueblo Reservoir this morning.  It was quite windy, though there were lots of gulls present, including the young Glaucous Gull.  There were lots of Ring-billed and few Herring Gulls present as well, though I couldn't pick anything else out.  There were also several Bald Eagles, at one point five immature birds on the ice together.  There were also lots of diving ducks, near the ice-line as well.  Redheads, Canvasbacks, Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead were all present, also a male Northern Pintail and some Gadwall.  Not much else going on out there, very windy for sure.

Last weekend, the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker continues in Pueblo City Park, the Arkansas Valley Audubon trip on Saturday (16 Feb), led by Mark Yaeger saw it, and I saw it on Sunday (17 Feb), just east of the pond in the middle of Pueblo City Park.

Good birding,
