[cobirds] Re: DFO field trip to Stalker SWA

Just a heads up, keep your eyes peeled for a juvenile Blackburnian Warbler. I saw it there this past Sunday. It was working the Russian olives along the east side of the lake north of the spillway.

I will be leading a DFO field trip to Stalker State Wildlife Area this Saturday, September 1st to try for the Yellow-crowned Night-Heron that is being seen at Stalker Lake. Stalker SWA is about 2.5 hours from the meeting location and is just west of Wray Colorado. This would be a new bird for our DFO Big Year. 

We will leave from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife parking lot at 6060 Broadway. See the link below for full details and registration. We will try to have 4 per car to keep our convoy down to 3 cars.
