Yesterday morning, August 15, there was a Loggerhead Shrike at the top of a tall dead tree at the Joder Ranch open space site north of Boulder. The tree is 1300 steps up the road/trail, in a gully to the east of the junction of the road trail and a road that goes to the left up the hill to a house above the trail.
