[cobirds] Holbrook Res in Otero

For those who will be venturing down SE in the coming weeks, I wanted to mention that of all the places we visited on 8-27 to 8-28 our best shorebirding overall was at Holbrook Rservoir in Otero Co.: best viewing (need to walk out to the water edge, though) and good numbers. They were concentrated from the S side around to the NE. If one walked from the area where the perimeter road leaves the NE corner of the lake edge there it would be a good way to see the most. We did not see anything particularly unusual there, but there were many shorebirds we did not view close up in the NE part of the lake, because we did not go to the shoreline in that part of the lake. But there were lots of shorebirds there in that part of it.

Anyway, I noticed there were few recent visits reported to eBird and wanted to alert birders of the good opportunity.
