Hi COBirders,
It is still slow at Clear Spring Ranch for banding. Most of the birds I banded today were netted before 7:15, but one of them was a Hatch-year Willow Flycatcher, along with a couple of expected Yellow Warblers and Gray Catbirds.
What WAS unexpected was a hen Wood Duck in a net, my first in-the-hand! (Unbanded, though). That was a surprise.
Good birding,
Steve Brown
