The High Plains Environmental Center is sponsoring a bird walk at 7:00 AM on Saturday morning around Equalizer Lake just north west of the Outlet Mall at Centerra. Walking will be at a slow pace on approximately 2 miles of level walking paths. Binoculars are recommended, as are a drink and/or a snack. Consider bringing a field guide and sunscreen and dress for the weather. Beginners are welcome. Meet at 2968 Bluestem Willow Drive (go North on Boyd Lake Road from 34, Turn right onto Long Pine Lake Drive and take it all the way down to the parking lot).
