- Still quite a few pelicans and cormorants around
- 35th Ave West Gravel Ponds are the "hot" spot (second pond (full of birds) is .25m west on trail and is usually the only open water during winter around here)
- Canada Goose - 1,000s
- Cackling Goose - 100s
- Snow and Ross's Goose - 400+
- Greater White-fronted Goose - 2
- 35th Ave East Gravel Pond
- Mute Swan - 2
- Herring Gull
- Bald Eagle - 2
- Lots of Common Goldeneye, Lesser Scaup, Ruddy Duck, Common Merganser
