I just found a common merganser in the middle of the road on Martin Drive in Martin acres. If I did not need to be in a classroom in 20 minutes I would be able to rescue him. He is now sitting near a bush on the corner of 44th St. and Martin Drive. I know some people are of the school of thought that nature should take it's course. I'm not one of those people. :-)
If anyone manages to rescue him please let me know.
