[cobirds] Red Rocks Trading Post, Jefferson County, 11/23/14, 6:45-8:10 AM.

Hello,

If your objective is to observe photographers then I highly recommend this location on the weekends if a rare bird has been plastered across the various social sites catering to birding and rare birds. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME if your objective is to observe and study birds. I can only hope you fine people were able to get that award winning first ever shot that will make your name more prevalent. Keep in mind any Juncos or hybrids thereof that you are seeing for the first time have been studied extensively (for the young lady walking around with the purpose of pics only and with disregard to movement.) Golden-crowned and Harris's:  go find them on your own they exist you just have to look. Congratulations to you coattails. Disgusting and shameful in my opinion.

Ps. John, the birds circling overhead were most likely Rosy as House do not display this behavior at this location in my experience.
