[cobirds] Long-tailed Duck, Boulder Co

All,

I went to a few local reservoirs this morning.  The only rare bird I found was the first-year Long-tailed Duck at Lagerman Res, which is between 63rd and 75th Streets north of Boulder.  This bird was first reported at this location a few days ago by David Dowell.  However, a White Pelican, seen from the overlook at Valmont Res, is unusual this late in the year.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Peter Gent, Boulder.
