[cobirds] RMBO Barr Banding Station Report, 9/20/14

A nice crowd of Saturday visitors enjoyed what was once again mostly a Wilson's Warbler "seminar".  All the kids who visit are able to age and sex WIWAs before they leave the station!  36 more banded, bringing our total of WIWAs to over 400 so far this season.  Here's the breakdown of the 56 new birds caught this morning:

Downy Woodpecker 1
House Wren 3
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 2
Townsend's Solitaire 1 (first of and likely only one of season)
Hermit Thrush 3
Orange-crowned Warbler 5
Wilson's Warbler 36
Green-tailed Towhee 1
Lincoln's Sparrow 3
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow 1

Closed tomorrow (Sun) and Mon.  Then open Tues through Sat next week.
