[cobirds] RMBO Barr Banding Report, 9/23/14

It has been really interesting, watching the weather reports be wrong this season.  We arrived at Barr expecting to worry about the heat; instead we had a cloudy, coolish morning with wind.  We closed most of the nets out near the lake after a couple of hours because of the blowing, and the birds became less active.  Still managed to band 47 birds:

Cassin's Vireo 1 (FOS)
White-breasted Nuthatch 1 (FOS)
House Wren 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 2
Hermit Thrush 2
Orange-crowned Warbler 4
Wilson's  Warbler 23
Yellow-breasted Chat 1
Chipping  Sparrow 4
Lincoln's Sparrow 2
Gambel's White-crowned  Sparrow 3
Dark-eyed Junco, Slate-colored 1
American Goldfinch 2

Open daily through Sat, then closed Sun & Mon, then open Tues through Sat the following week.
