American Golden-Plover (Bent, Kiowa)
Caspian Tern (Adams, Denver, Jefferson)
Sabine's Gull (Adams, Arapahoe, Bent, Boulder, Douglas/Jefferson, Larimer)
Lesser  Black-backed Gull (Douglas/Jefferson)
Bell's Vireo (*Pueblo)
Blue-headed Vireo (*Pueblo)
Lapland Longspur (Weld)
McCown's Longspur (Weld)
CANADA WARBLER (El Paso)

ADAMS COUNTY:
--Two Sabine's Gulls were reported by Bob Andrews at Barr Lake on September 20.
--An Eurasian Wigeon was reported by Hodges at Barr Lake at the south end of the lake on September 21.
--Two Caspian Terns were reported by Stringer at Barr Lake on September 22.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--At Cherry Creek SP, 2 Sabine's Gulls continue on September 19 and 20.

BENT COUNTY:
--9 American-Golden Plovers were reported by Mlodinow at the NW corner of John Martin Reservoir on September 24.

DOUGLAS/JEFFERSON COUNTIES:
--On September 18 Kellner reported 6 1st year Sabine's Gulls at Chatfield and on September 24, Halverstatd reported 2 Sabine's Gulls and a Lesser Black-backed Gull.  On September 22 at Chatfield, Suddjian reported a Sabine's gull at the Marina Sandspit and a Sabine's Gull at the Swim Beach.  On September 23, Carstensen reported 3 Sabine's gulls by the Marina Sandspit.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--A CANADA WARBLER was banded by Steve Brown at Clear Springs Ranch on September 21.

KIOWA COUNTY:
--A 1st year YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was reported by Mlodinow at Nee So Pah Reservoir on September 24.  Take US 287 S from Eads to CR A (Kiowa)/CR WW (Bent).  Turn W on this road that forms the county line.  Go N on Kiowa CR 40 (which is also called CR 39.5 in places). Go N past CR C. You will see a track running to the east that is labelled as being closed. Continue N on 39.5. Shortly thereafter ( within a mile) there is an unmarked dirt track to the east (at this point reservoir obvious). Take track down towards res. Park on grassy spot. YC Night Heron was in water under trees at s end of reservoir. 
--An American-Golden Plover was reported by Mlodinow at Jeff Reservoir on September 24.
  
LARIMER COUNTY:  
--On September 21, Starace reported 2 Sabine's Gulls at Boyd Lake.
--On September 19 Wade report 2 YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS at "Merganser Pond"  which is in the Prospect Ponds Natural Area, Fort Collins.  Bankert and Komar reported that one continues on  September 21.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--A Bell's Vireo was reported by Percival at Snakeskin Picnic Area below Pueblo Reservoir Dam on September 24.
--On September 25, Percival reported Blue-headed Vireo and Bell's Vireo below Pueblo Reservoir Dam.

WELD COUNTY:
--14 Lapland Longspurs were reported by Lefko .3 mi S of CR 33 and CR 96 on west side of CR 33 on September 21.
--A Mississippi Kite was reported by Lefko at Glenmere Park in Greeley on September 21.
--At intersection of murphy's Pasture Rd (CR 96) and CR 69, Leatherman reported several Chestnut-collared Longspurs on September 21.
--At Crow Valley on September 21, Leatherman report fly over McCown's Longspurs.
--An ad Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Mlodinow at Crow Valley on September 23.

The DFO Field Trip for Thursday, September 25 will be to Rocky Mountain National Park led by Christie Owens (christiel@q.com or 303-772-6058).   Meet the leader at the RMNP Visitor Center parking lot east of Beaver Meadows entrance station on US 36 at 0815.  This trip is limit to the first 10 registrations.  Relatively flat trails and alking up to 3 miles at altitude.   Bring  binoculars, lunch, and water.  Dress for changeable weather.  Wear Sturdy walking shoes.  Please email or call by September 23 to register.

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, September 27, will be to Parker Jordan Centennial Open Space led by Cynthina Madsen (cmadsen08@ gmail.com or 303-770-6534) and David Hill (d_d_hill@comcast.net or 303-796-0638).  Trip is limited to first
20 registrations.  Meet the leaders at 0800.
Directions: (1) Go south on Parker Rd/Co 83 to E Broncos Pkwy, but DO NOT turn at light.  Continue about 100 yds south of the light at E Broncos Pkwy and turn right onto a dirt road (mile marker 64).  Continue west into the Tagawa Garden Cneter parking lot.  Follow the parking lot to the west exit.   Before you reach E Broncos Pkway, take a short road to your left to parking lot where we will meet.  OR (2)  From I-25, take Exit 197 east onto S Arapaphoe Rod for 3.6 miles to S Jordan Rd and then south to E Broncos Pkwy.  Follow E Broncos Pkwy east ofr 06. miles,  Just after crossing over Cherry Creek and trail,  there isa short road on the right just before you reach Tagawa Garden Center.  Turn right onto that road and turn right into the parking lot.
