Today I birded around Weld and bits of Larimer
It seems as if shorebirds have temporarily pushed on and so have birds such as Sabines Gull
Landbird movement, however, was evident at Crow, with birds flying in and out
Highlights were led by an adult female YB SAPSUCKER, an adult BW HAWK, and a EASTERN BG GNATCATCHER. Other goodies included RE VIREO, American Redstart, RN Sapsucker, Hammond's Fly, Dusky Fly, and Least Fly, eastern WBNU, 3 Hairy Woodpeckers (one Eastern, other two undetermined).
There were a fair number of warblers and sparrows, but three SS Hawks and 2 Coopers kept birds annoyingly secretive. Overall, I had 51 species at Crow in 4 hours.
Good Birding
