PARASITC JAEGER (Park)
LONG-TAILED JAEGER (Boulder, Larimer)
Sabine's Gull (Adams, Arapahoe, Bent, Boulder, Costilla, Denver, Douglas/Jefferson, Huerfano, *Larimer, Logan, Logan/Sedgwick, Park, Pueblo, Washington)
Mew Gull (Arapahoe)
Lesser  Black-backed Gull (*Douglas/Jefferson)

ADAMS COUNTY:
--Two Sabine's Gulls were reported by Bob Andrews at Barr Lake on September 20.
--Two Sabine's Gulls were reported by Sheeter at Rocky Mountain Arsenal on September 17.
--An Eurasian Wigeon was reported by Hodges at Barr Lake at the south end of the lake on September 21.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--On September 19, Sheeter reported an adult Mew Gull from the Swim Beach at Cherry Creek SP.
--At Cherry Creek SP, 2 Sabine's Gulls continue on September 19 and 20.
--On September 18, Suddjian reported 2 juv Sabine's Gulls at McLelllan reservoir, 1 at Ketring Lake and 3 at South Platte Reservoir.

BENT COUNTY:
--On September 17, Modinow reported an ARCTIC TERN at John Martin Reservoir and a  juv Buff-breasted Sandpiper and 2 Sabine's Gulls in the NW corner of the reservoir.
--2 Sabine's were reported by Mlodinow at Adobe Creek Reservoir on September 17.

BOULDER COUNTY:
--Dowell reported a juv intermidate LONG-TAILED JAEGER at Boulder Reservoir on September 16 and Guarente reported on September 18 that the jaeger continues.  Mlodinow reported on September 19, that the LONG-TAILED JAEGER and one Sabine's Gull continue at Boulder Reservoir.

COSTILLA COUNTY:
--Rawinski reported 3 Sabine's Gulls at Smith Reservoir SWA near Blanca on September 14 and again on September 18.

DENVER COUNTY:
--Alec Hopping reported a Sabine's Gull at Martson Reservoir On September 15 through September 19.

DOUGLAS/JEFFERSON COUNTIES:
--On September 18 Kellner reported 6 1st year Sabine's Gulls at Chatfield and on September 24, Halverstatd reported 2 Sabine's Gulls and a Lesser Black-backed Gull.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--At Big Johnson on September 17, Bill Maynard reported 3 juv and 1 ad Sabine's Gull.

HUERFANO COUNTY:
--A Sabine's GUll was reported by Neldner at Lathrop SP on September 18.

LARIMER COUNTY:
--A 1st-cycle ARCTIC TERN was reported by Walbek at Boyd Lake on September 16.  It was not seen on September 18
--An ad LONG-TAILED JAEGER was found by Bankert on September 15 at Boyd Lake.  It was seen by Hopper on September 17 and by Komar on September 18, and by Deininger on September 20.  Approach via Hwy 34 due to construction on other routes.  
--On September 21, Starace reported 2 Sabine's Gulls at Boyd Lake.
--On September 19 Wade report 2 YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS at "Merganser Pond"  which is in the Prospect Ponds Natural Area, Fort Collins.  Bankert and Komar reported that one continues on  September 21.

LOGAN COUNTY:
--A Sabine's Gull was reported by Mimh-Dunning at Sterling Reservoir on September 19.

LOGAN/SEDGWICK COUNTIES:
--5 Sabine's Gulls were reported by Mimh-Dunning at Jumbo on September 19.

PARK COUNTY:
--At Antero Reservoir on September 16, Suddjian reported PARASITIC JAEGER and Sabine's Gull.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--3 juv Sabine's Gulls were reported by Percival at Pueblo Reservoir on September 18.  

WASHINGTON COUNTY:
--A Sabine's Gull was reported by Mihm-Dunning at Prewitt Reservoir on September 19.

The DFO Field Trip for Thursday, September 25 will be to Rocky Mountain National Park led by Christie Owens (christiel@q.com or 303-772-6058).   Meet the leader at the RMNP Visitor Center parking lot east of Beaver Meadows entrance station on US 36 at 0815.  This trip is limit to the first 10 registrations.  Relatively flat trails and alking up to 3 miles at altitude.   Bring  binoculars, lunch, and water.  Dress for changeable weather.  Wear Sturdy walking shoes.  Please email or call by September 23 to register.

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, September 27, will be to Parker Jordan Centennial Open Space led by Cynthina Madsen (cmadsen08@ gmail.com or 303-770-6534) and David Hill (d_d_hill@comcast.net or 303-796-0638).  Trip is limited to first
20 registrations.  Meet the leaders at 0800.
Directions: (1) Go south on Parker Rd/Co 83 to E Broncos Pkwy, but DO NOT turn at light.  Continue about 100 yds south of the light at # Broncos Pkwy and turn right onto a dirt road (mile marker 64).  Continue west into the Tagawa Garden Cneter parking lot.  Follow the parking lot to the west exit.   Before you reach E Proncos Pkway, take a short road to your left to parking lot where we will meet.  OR (2)  From I-25, take Exit 197 east onto S Arapaphoe Rod for 3.6 miles to S Jordan Rd and then south to E Broncos Pkwy.  Follow E Broncos Pkwy east ofr 06. miles,  Just after crossing over Cherry Creek and trail,  there isa short road on the right just before you reach Tagawa Garden Center.  Turn right onto that road and turn right into the parking lot.
