RMBO fall migration bird banding at Chico Basin Ranch commenced on September 4th. We have banded 244 birds of 32 species thus far. Our high day was last Saturday, with 63 of 17 species. Low day was 9 birds on Wednesday, due to intermittent rain showers. Nothing unusual yet – here’s the cumulative species list for the period:
