SORRY - THIS WENT THROUGH BEFORE I FINISHED MY E-MAIL. SEE BELOW FOR FULL E-MAIL:

A little slower on this nice, cool day - Banded 40 new birds plus recaught 18 that were banded earlier this season.  The fun of the day was 4 Bushtits; somewhat surprisingly, we have not banded a Bushtit since 2006, when we banded 1.

Here's the breakdown on the birds banded today:

Dusky Flycatcher 1
Bushtit 4
House Wren 4
Orange-crowned Warbler 9
Yellow Warbler 1
MacGillivray's Warbler 1 (FOS)
Wilson's Warbler 15
Chipping Sparrow 1
American Goldfinch 1
House Sparrow 3 (Had the nets at the Nature Center feeders open briefly.......)

We are open Friday and Saturday, then closed Sunday and Monday.
