This morning Micki and I found 20-25 Western Wood Pewees and about 100 Cedar Waxwings zooming around at the south end of Hudson Gardens in Littleton, the latter taking advantage of the many berry bearing trees in this beautiful park. We also saw Peregrine Falcon, Barn Owl, Great Horned Owl, and Red-tailed Hawk but could not count them because they were tethered to a Hawk Quest volunteer for a special photo shoot. Hudson Gardens is on the west side of Santa Fe Drive at the second traffic light south of Bowles. Admission is free.
