[cobirds] Smoke On The Water

Well, not exactly smoke, but mist. Given the dramatic temp differential between the water and the air, any sizable reservoir has a foot or two high snaky mist above it. Given the weather forecast, this should continue to some extent until the water becomes ice, solving both the visibility problem and the need to view issue.

I was able to see the LT Duck at Union, near the se. corner today, its usual hangout. Viewing Union was otherwise most challenging. I was able to get fair looks at Terry and McIntosh, both inundated with goldeneye and RB Gulls but little else. Terry did have a LBB Gull and a Thayer's Gull. No Barrow's Goldeneyes at any of the above mentioned locations.
