Greetings All
Banner Lakes SWA was a bit slow on water-birding front but did have 3 WILLOW FLYCATCHERS
At the wild animal reserve about 3 miles south of Banner (there is a sign for it off CO 52), about 50 gulls were lounging at the side of this narrow road, including a one-year old LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, and at LUNA Reservoir there was a juv LAUGHING GULL- morning light sucks and heat shimmer can be an issue, so early to mid afternoon, when clouds first roll in but thunderstorms are distant threat, is best.
Good Birding
