[cobirds] Mississippi Kites - Glenmere Park

For those looking to see a Mississippi Kite I rather innocently almost ran into one (or rather the kite almost ran into me) on the eastern edge of Glenmere park. This particular bird had no problem zipping in and out of the trees on that edge of the park chasing what looked like dragonflies. For those with cameras - some great shots should be easily achieved.

Several residents who passed by mentioned that they have seen up to 4 in the park area this summer - especially in the last 3 weeks.

Happy Birding,

Mark Minner-Lee
