It has been a very nice birding weekend here in Huerfano County.
Yesterday we found:Black Phoebe and lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets were flycatching at Lathrop State Park
Wilson's Snipe on Huajatolla Valley Road
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher was in with some Yellow-Rumped Warblers at Lathrop State Park
In the yard:
First of the season Lincoln's Sparrow was here yesterday and today
White-crowned Sparrows
Song Sparrows
2 transitioning Harris's Sparrows
Just a few Pinyon Jays
Lewis's Woodpecker was seen on the power pole next to the house
