[cobirds] Golden-crowned Sparrow+ - Red Rocks - Jeffco

Hello All,

Wonderful to hear the cascading song of the Canyon Wren while putting
out seed this morning at the feeders behind the Red Rocks Trading
Post. The adult Golden-crowned Sparrow and Gambel's White-crowned
Sparrow appeared in the first 15 minutes (~7:45). Saw all the junco
subspecies including one White-winged.

The fog and mist made falcon watching a little challenging, but the
female Peregrine was on top of Ship Rock calling for the male. Saw
both Prairie Falcons on Park Cave Rock (male brought prey), so the
female hasn't started incubating yet - any day now???
