[cobirds] Colorado Bird Records Committee - Request for Proposals

Hello all,

The Colorado Field Ornithologists (CFO) Board of Directors is seeking bids for development of an online reporting system and archival database for documentations of rare birds in the state of Colorado.  The Colorado Bird Records Committee (CBRC), a committee of CFO, currently maintains a user-based online reporting system, as well as a private CBRC-only administrative site for purposes of organizing, reviewing, voting on, and archiving rare bird documentations.

The contractor will collaborate with the CBRC's current Chair, Secretary, and Webmaster, in the conceptual design and functionality of the new online reporting system, CBRC administrative site, and database archive.  The primary purpose of the online reporting system will be to provide a simple means for submitting documentation about the occurrence of rare birds to the CBRC.  The database archive will be made available online for public consumption.

I hope to have the full RFP on the CFO website soon.  In the meantime, if you would like a copy, please email me directly and I'll send it to you.

good birding,

Doug Faulkner
CBRC Chair
