Ray and I and Dodie and Bob Adel went to Glenmere Park yesterday. We arrived about 4:40PM and looked for the tree described by Nick Komar. After finding it, within a few minutes, we looked up into the sky and saw what I thought might be a Kite flying in. When it landed in the tree, we knew we were in luck. Two more arrived in a few minutes. One posed on the dead branch giving us great looks through the scope. More may have come, but it was hot and we moved to the shade to look at the egrets and Night Herons before leaving. Thanks to all who posted previously and gave such good directions. Go to the Pavilion building. Ours were in the dying coniferous tree behind the Pavillion. As you face the Pavillion with the lake behind you, the tree is on the right side. Joan Glabach Windsor |
