[cobirds] Least Bittern, seen again tonight at Holcim Wetlands near Florence

I drove out to Holcim Wetlands just east of Florence on CR120 this evening.  While waiting for the Least Bittern to fly, I saw one dark Ibis fly in to the large area filled with cattails.  At 7:30 pm I spotted the Least Bittern flying into this large cattail area though it was about 200 feet from the south trail this time.

In addition to the thousands of blackbirds and grackles, there were about a  hundred Yellow-headed Blackbirds that came in to spend the night in the wetlands.  This is  the most Yellow-headed Blackbirds I have seen this year.

I have added to my Birds and Nature blog two more photos of the male Hooded Warbler I photographed yesterday at Pueblo Mtn Park.
