Jonelle Balais, Diane Apperson, and I were fortunate to have juvenile Dusky Grouse cross in front of our vehicle this afternoon at 1:15 in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Exact location: 39 51 41.4; -105 26 47.7

Three juveniles crossed road to join mother, after much encouragement by her.
