[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Barr Banding Report 9/2/23

At some level, I suppose it is interesting (and sad) to have so little to report!  Another slow day at Barr, with 18 birds banded, no new species for the season.  (Each day, we've had a handful of recaps - birds we have already banded this season.  Today there were 7 of those, for a total of 25).  Here are the new birds:

Western Wood-Pewee 2
Willow Flycatcher 1
House Wren 3
Yellow Warbler 2
Common Yellowthroat 3
Wilson's Warbler 7

If you would like to visit, we have one-hour slots (up to 15 visitors at a time) from 7:30-8:30 most weekday mornings (Tues-Fri, we are closed on Mon) and 8, 9 , and 10 a.m. one-hour time slots on the weekends.  Click here to make a reservation.
