[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies-Chico Basin Ranch 9/12/2023

A Very Foggy morning which probably resulted in the low bird numbers. The birds flying overnight could not see the green olive grove below because of the fog to drop in this morning.  The few recaptures we caught were doing great! They all gained at least a couple grams or more of weight.

26 New Banded Birds

Wilson's Warbler- 14

Orange-crowned Warbler- 1

Ruby-crowned Kinglet- 1

Western Flycatcher- 1

Swainson's Thrush- 4

Yellow-breasted Chat- 2

Western Tanager- 2

Brown Thrasher- 1

5 Recaptured Birds

Wilson's Warbler- 2

Lazuli Bunting- 1

MacGillivray's Warbler- 1

Gray Catbird- 1

The Banding Station will be open tomorrow through Saturday Sunrise until @ 11:30 AM.
