[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies- Chico Basin Ranch 9/28/2023

I thought there might be a small influx of birds as there was a light NW wind when we put up the nets. However, that was not the outcome. However, we did catch and band a female Hatching year Sharp-shinned Hawk which is always a treat.

Tomorrow is the last day of the season that the station will be open. Many thanks to all the volunteers and birders that helped make the season operate smoothly. Many thanks to Ranchlands at Chico Basin Ranch for their hospitality and generosity for providing housing and helping with the education programs. Have a good day!
