[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies- Chico Basin Ranch 9/25/2023

A surprising day with a slight NW wind for part of the morning brought a few birds into the Olive grove. A Least Flycatcher and a Cassin's Vireo were the highlights of the day.

51 New Banded Birds
Wilson's Warbler- 12
Orange-crowned Warbler- 4
Ruby-crowned Kinglet- 2
Least Flycatcher- 1
Cassin's Vireo- 1
Oregon Junco- 4
Lincoln's Sparrow- 4
Song Sparrow- 1
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow- 8
Green-tailed Towhee- 1
Spotted Towhee- 3
Yellow-breasted Chat- 2
Western Tanager- 1
Hermit Thrush- 4
American Robin- 3

2 Recaptures
Oregon Junco
Spotted Towhee

It  is hard to say what tomorrow will bring as far as birds. Regardless the banding station will be open tomorrow through Friday from sunrise until @11:30 AM.
