[cobirds] This Thursday - September 14th - Fort Collins Audubon hosts Kyle Horton for “A Movement Unseen: Bird Migration in Action””

Our Summer Program Break is over! This Thursday,  September 14th, Fort Collins Audubon is pleased to host Dr. Kyle Horton, Assistant Professor at Colorado State University and Principal Investigator for CSU's AeroEco Lab, for "A Movement Unseen: Bird Migration in Action"

In-person social time with refreshments starts at 7:00 pm; Announcements at 7:20 pm; Visual Presentation at 7:30 pm.

Those wishing to join an in-person viewing can do so at the Fort Collins Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Dr.

***This program will also be accessible online using Zoom, link to join is: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82896716366*** We will be enabling live closed-captioning for Zoom attendees to utilize as they wish.

"Dr. Kyle Horton's Aeroecology Lab, Colorado State University, broadly addresses questions related to bird migration and their use of airspace. Dr. Horton will discuss how his lab works to weave together a range of tools and approaches, including the use of radar, community science data, and field studies to address conservation challenges.

Dr. Kyle Horton is an assistant professor at Colorado State University in the Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology.
