Another flock of Red-necked Phalaropes, 38 at Parker Regional Park. You can walk to the pond from the parking area off Parker Road, or drive to it via the Salisbury Equestrian area.
eBird deemed the phalaropes as Rare. It also deemed rare the two Buffleheads & 160 Tree Swallows.
As an aside we have a steady flock of Lazuli Buntings (up to 7) eating millet under our feeders (while we have them out -- a big bear has informed us that we need to take in the feeders when we leave home). I treasure the intense blue of their heads as it glows in the light.
